How it works
- PasteLecture notes, textbook summaries, messy bullets with shorthand. Tables work too.
- We split factsLists become one card per item. Each card keeps the exact source line it came from, and anything not backed by your notes is dropped.

Guides
FAQ
What does Notes2Deck make?
An Anki .apkg file of cloze or question/answer flashcards generated from the notes you paste. Import it into Anki desktop, AnkiDroid, or AnkiMobile.
What does "atomic" mean?
Each card tests exactly one fact. Lists are split into one card per item, and every card has a single cloze deletion or a short answer.
Will it make things up?
No. Every card is tied to a source line copied verbatim from your notes, and cards whose answer can't be found in that line are dropped automatically.
Does it cover the whole document?
Yes. The engine checks which lines of your notes are covered by at least one card and reports the coverage percentage.
How much does it cost?
Paste tier: $1 for a day pass or $3/month. Full docs tier: $9/month for about 300 pages, with Notion import (coming soon) and extra page packs.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The free demo on the Try page converts up to about 1,500 characters, with a small hourly limit.
Can I upload a PDF or import from Notion?
On the Full docs plan, yes: upload a PDF with selectable text or a .txt/.md file, or paste the link of a Notion page published to the web. Private Notion workspaces are coming soon.
How long can my document be?
Up to 1,500 characters free, 20,000 characters per deck on Paste, and 60,000 characters per deck on Full docs (long documents are processed in sections and merged into one deck).
Do you keep my notes?
The demo processes your text to generate the deck and does not store it.
